“Calling the Sun”
With the persistence of the always pleasant lavender clouds, I was beginning to want to call on God for another favor. This time I didn’t want to believe in some stupid vampire thing, but my experiences with underground groups had me convinced anything is possible concerning the weird and perverted mindsets of people; or what seem to be people. I imagined a life being lived in dim twilight, and what a high maintenance friend of God I would end up being. Just going out in the day meant I would have to have clouds, and God would spend a lot of time shading me. The rest of the time would be night! Man! I like the sun. It’s beautiful and I like it.
Finally I had enough doubting and called on God to do me a favor: “God would you make the sun shine through for me?” The strangest thing happened: In a very short little while, the clouds began to break up and the rays of the sun did come shining through here and there. “God let the sun shine on me if I’m not going to be hurt by it.” I was thinking that if I was vampired out, at least the issue of sunlight would be settled. Then the clouds obeyed and the sun jumped through them as if startled into action to shine on me. That was neat!
I recall going on a car ride with my Mom, and as we rode the clouds kept blocking the sun. Each time I would call for the sun in my mind, and the sun would instantly shine through the clouds onto me. Over and over and over it would happen without fail. Instantly and obediently the sun shone through at my beckoning. “This can’t be mere coincidence” I thought. “Some intelligence is obliging me when I call. It must be God since he’s powerful enough to do things like this. The funny thing is, God could be doing all this and showing off for me, and nobody else would even notice.”
Again, Bryson, there are many instance of events like this. But think now. Why does it have to be the 'God'? Why not some simpler form of intelligence who just happens to have a lot more effects at his or her disposal?
ReplyDeleteThere are several possibilities, and some which might sound way out, and yet they are perfectly feasible.
I may have mentioned one already in my crop circle series. People have looked at new formations and then thought 'make another one ...with this or that feature'. Immediately a new crop circle has appeared close to the observer and in broad daylight. There isn't any doubt at all that somebody is listening in to our thoughts and responding to them.
The most likely scenario is that we are in an induced coma in some vast array of mortuary like boxes, wired up to some machine that presents the world and all we see in it.
Our dreams are only dreams within dreams. Another consequence of this is that what we believe becomes reality. So in your programmed part of this fake reality, your gospel stories have become real and you did have a real Jesus. However in mine, I found inconsistencies and so the machine then eradicated that part of the story, or failed to add it.
The facts I have found are very real and solid. There cannot be any doubt. But in your dreamworld perhaps they aren't there? If we were to go to Egypt together, then that would create a dilemma for whoever is controlling us.
Actually something like this has happened. Some people witnessing Uri Geller saw spoons bend, whilst Randi didn't. To him nothing happened at all. Also, someone once filmed the Indian Rope Trick. What he captured was all the stage effects - small boy, rope and magician. They just stood there and nothing happened. Yet the crowd went, Wow. They actually saw the rope stand up and become taught enough for the boy to climb it, vanish, then reappear and descend.
It all sounds like some form of mass hallucination. My explanation though does explain it. We all see different realities.
One thing that convinces me of this is the 33 phenomena. Some of the sightings could not be caused unless numbers on tanks etc. had been placed there before hand. In some way or another, they cannot be real. Yet TV films and documentaries when repeated still show the same numbers reappearing.
Maybe the sun, itself, was obeying your little whims, Bryson. After all, people worshiped the sun long before they worshiped your fictional Bible God. Anyone can see the sun, feel its warmth, see that it brings light and life to all the world. The sun can be proven to exist. Yep, it had to be the sun. All hail the great and powerful Sun!

ReplyDeleteV: I understand that you tend to view events like this from the supra-natural perspective Malcolm. I had another paradigm in mind which is the synchronistic. You have to understand that the shaping of my perspective was coming from the fact that I understood I was encountering incorporial beings already, so they became the agencies of such expressions for me.
Synchronicity is the expression of meaning through events, the evidence of the unseen. Our intelligence agencies use synchronicity to find the meanings expressed in events even if the agency behind it is unseen and possibly unknown, For my the invisible incorporials were the easiest connection since I knew already they were revealing themselves to me.
I'm not certain, but I don't think any of my accounts rely upon my personal supra-natural aptitudes, It simply was not my perspective.
Why God? Because gradually the introduction of the themes of God were being imparted to me in this battle of the Watchers and God over me.

ReplyDeleteV: I have never held to the ide that material things posses consciousness, and the sun is a material object. However the idea that a conscious being can manipulate the material is well known. Humanity does it all the time. It is just a question of the degree of ability or capability involved. Mankind may one day harness the power of black holes, but not presently. But if we are dealing with a superior being who is willing to make demonstrations, then it would be within his capabilities to manipulate either the sun or the clouds at a mere request.
Recently there was a UFO sighting at O'hare Airport in which upon the departure of the object, it arose and punched a clean circular hole in the clouds. Apparently the act of holing the cloud was effortless for the object. While I don't understand what was going on in the event, it does illustrate at least that something like holing clounds is no big deal.

ReplyDeleteCBB : Invariably it is the other way around. A giant hole opens in a cloud formation, and then people assume it cannot be a natural phenomenon, so a UFO sighting is tossed into the mix. Guess what? It is a natural phenomenon. I realize you want everything to have a woooeeeuuu component, but if you had studied in school, you would already know about this stuff.

V: Object leaving holes in clouds is understood. What wasn't understood by the many witnesses at the O'hare event, was what exactly the object was. The descriptions of the witnesses are easy to find and they aren't describing a conventional aircraft. But apart from that it is a point to consider that intelligent beings have the capability to open holes in clouds if they desire to do that, and the answer can be rather mundane as for the method, or in the case of God a rather exotic explanation.

Lois: Oh, you mean like it is for humans in airplanes? Yeah, it happens all the time wherever airplanes are to be found...for example, at airports.

Well, if you want to be so self-centered as to think the very clouds obey you, fine. I guarantee that if I were to ask you to pray for rain in a drought-stricken part of the world, you would refuse to do it because "God doesn't work that way." I know this because EVERY time anyone asks for a demonstration of your imaginary deity's power, suddenly he is nowhere to be found.
